I just read your page. Welcome to the fandom. Trust me, it isnt all bad. There are some pretty bad fans, but there are a few really awesome ones too. find your friend group and hang with em. I also LOVE that you like princess luna, as I am sure you figured from detour, I love her as well. She is just so bad ass.
Hope to see you around at other conventions soon ^_^
I feel that convergence is a specific con and I dont want to make the pony fandom look bad by dragging ponies into a convention that is specifically for the female characters of marvel and science fiction.
I will probably have a pink black dress on with some weird make up. nothing specific, just looking weird...possibly posing as something of my own creation.
That was last years theme, 'Wonder Women'. This years theme is 'British Invasion', so british sci-fi like Doctor Who and H. G. Wells and stuff like that. I'm going in a Warhammer 40,000 cosplay as it is from England.
Oh, I just love to go to CONvergence. It was the first con I ever went too. So I know a bit about it. You can still do a pony cosplay if you want, that shits awesome, and I'm sure there will be a couple MLP panels. They did last year. You'll definitely see me. I'm gonna be in a 40k Techpriest costume I made. The one I had at Anime Detour was the MK. 1 and was just un-fuckin'-comfortable to wear. The MK. 2 will be better. Also, I just realized I have a tendency to ramble when I talk to others over DA.
Excellent cosplay! You've really got the melancholy expression Luna would experience coming back only to find all the ponies she, except her banisher, have passed on. The dress and the hair are spot on.
the best comment I got all night was from four younger trick-or-treaters.... TOT1)TRICK OR TREAT! TOT2) TRICK OR TREAT! TOT3) TRICK OR TREAT! TOT4) ARE THOSE LIP RINGS REAL!?!?!?! I loled hard core ^_^
This is probably one of my favourite human Lunas that I've seen in MLP cosplay. I'm not sure why. I do like the elegant simplicity of the dress, but I also really like the circlet you're wearing and the elaborate metal work in the moons. Then again, the pose also corresponds well to the photo's title. She looks lost and downcast, even if she's bearing it with a certain amount of regal dignity, much like how we first saw her in the show.
